Our very own, Handmade, Salted Caramel.

Salted Caramel is often considered as the ultimate Breton treat. From hard and soft candies (resembling toffee) to caramel pastes, it's found in Breton recipe books from as early as the 1940's. The notoriety and fame of salted caramel candies reaches a peak around the 1970's when Breton Chocolate Master Henri Leroux creates hazelnuts and caramel candies that quickly become hugely popular in Paris. Other chefs and chocolate or caramel master will later follow making that salted caramel taste an unmissable piece of the Breton identity.

Our caramel paste is hand-made at MAMIE'S from Breton Salted Butter and a hint of Guérande salt in the purest of Traditions. We serve it on our crêpes but also very often take some home with us... And there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do that as well!
